April 2012

April 2012 was fun and full.  We had great time with our school work, Easter, our butterfly unit and more swim lessons.  Here it is in pictures :)

Before church. We went to a Saturday evening service at our church because Eric had a gig Sunday morning.  Check out Micah...haha.

 

 

Sunday morning we made resurrection rolls while Daddy was at another church. 

We waited for him, then hunted some more eggs.

 

 

 

 

We did a butterfly unit and raised some caterpillars into butterflies.  It was such a fun experience!  This was the day we let them go.

The littlest things...

She had a piece of tape and kept putting it on her belly.  Such a cute little chunky baby!! :)

This was on Caring for Katy day with our church.  We close the doors on Sunday morning and go out into the community to be the church, the hands and feet of Jesus. There were about 3 projects our class was a part of.  We hosted a group of moms and kids cooking/prepping dinners for some families in our area.  Neighbors with hew babies, some widows, etc.  Fun!

Since I'm horribly behind in blogging, I thought I'd at least post some pictures of the past few months, in case there is anyone left that reads this blog :)

Micah was in a great mood when Yaya and Papa wanted a picture with him, as you can tell.......

Then, we went on a field trip to the fire station and polic station here in Katy.  The officers and firefighters were all so nice and our bigs and littles had a great time.  The middles were in preschool.  They get to visit a fire truck there, and they'll get to go this year :)

I think this is the only time all year all 4 moms with the kids are in one picture (missing the 5 middles) :)

At the police station.  This officer was so nice and answered many questions.
He also made it a point when he was pointing towards the jail (we couldn't go in for their privacy) to say bad people don't end up in here, just people who made bad choices. 

Though we are all inherently sinful, I thought it was a good lesson for the kids, that your choices determine your consequences, good and bad.
