Micah's First day of Preschool

Mister Man started 2 days a week at our church's preschool after Labor Day. He's loving it so far. A couple of his friends are in the class and he's meeting some new ones. He had a great time the first day, even if he did get chomped down on my a 'friend.' :)

Here are my sweet boys pictures.
He was so excited to have his own nap mat, backpack and lunch kit. Yaya gave him the lunchkit last Christmas. My neighobr (who has a Micah) handed down the nap mat and I got the (cheap) backpack at wal mart and embroidered his name on it.

The first day was 'bring a teddy bear' day. He took one of sisters.

Playing with Ms. Yolanda.

Bye bye big boy! Wishing you a wonderful year!

Around the House

I don't know why I've stopped blogging. I'm busy and it's low on the list. So, I thought maybe I could show some cute pictures of the kids from this month. They're in reverse order, oh well!

Cutie pie enjoying her bath.

Micah with a super cute outfit from Tot 2 Tot!!

It rained a couple weekends ago and the kids loved playing in the rain!

I put on a show one afternoon and came into this cuddle fest. Too cute!

Girl is walking and getting into all kinds of things :)

More Shirts, beads and coffee, oh and SHOPPING!

We have some shirts for sale!  Our order got a little messed up in July, so we have some extra shirts to sell.  I have posted a button below and it has our inventory embedded in it.  I've also typed it below.  We have shirts in both Grey and Pink and a variety of sizes.  Please send your friends!!  They are great shirts, if you are praying for Africa, serving in Africa, or have adopted from (or are going to) Africa, what a great way to remember that land and help us bring our baby home!

Also, if you're starting to think about Christmas gifts, we have a coffee store for those coffee lovers on your list.  We also still have quite a few GORGEOUS handmade beaded necklaces for sale!  Made and purchased in Uganda, brought back to help us raise money!

These are the shirts that we have.  If you want a size not listed, let us know.  We'll need an order of at least 24 to do a new order!

Shirts in inventory:
Youth Large: Pink - 1
Adult Small:  Pink - 2
Adult Medium:  Grey - 2  Pink - 3
Adult Large: Grey - 4
Adult XL:  Grey - 3  Pink - 4
Adult XXL:  Grey - 6  Pink - 1
Adult XXXL:  Pink - 1 (if you want this one, please email us!)

And, I'm hosting a holiday shopping market at my house on 10/1 from 1-5 pm.  Each of the vendors is giving me a percentage of their profits towards our adoption!! :)  Email me at newsomes4adoption [at] gmail dot com if you want more information on that.

Thank you!

Quick visit to Georgetown

Back at the end of July/early August, after our trip to Dallas and walk around Baylor campus, we went to visit Pawpaw in Georgetown. We visited, stayed one night, and headed home during naps the next day. It was quick, but it is always fun visiting him. We got to see Mindy and Jim as well, and stopped in and saw Uncle Gerry and Aunt Patti. Here are some pictures, mostly of the kiddos, of our quick trip.

Sweet loves.

She was talking to him.

HILARIOUS face, we put it on her birthday invitation :)

Pawpaw and some great-grandkids!
