Busy Busy 2 month old

Ok, straight to business.....today was her 2 month checkup, and man is she a big girl.

12 pounds 8 ounces (84th percentile)
24.25 inches (95th percentile)
15 inches (head) 31st percentile

The pediatrician was amazed at how strong she was when she sat her in her lap, she was holding her head up so well.

She has had a busy couple of weeks. Tuesday August 8th we went to her first birthday party. My best friend Trayce's girl Julianne turned 3, so we went to a party at the park in Galveston. Then Thursday was her aunt Amanda's 12th birthday, so we went to the Newsome's for dinner. Then, Saturday August 12th, all of Bailey's bridesmaids threw her a bridal shower in Santa Fe, so Cara attended her first shower. Then, we had 2 showers this weekend thrown by Matt's aunts (saturday) and his mom's best friend (sunday). You can see all the pictures on flickr to the left. During last week she went to visit daddy and YaYa at work (before the kids started back to school). This weekend we are all going to Georgetown to visit my grandparents, and have a "Come meet Cara" party at mom's friend's house. Then next weekend we are going to Corpus to visit Eric's family.
