HELP, who knows how to fix a laptop?
Ok, I was STUPID (bad word Cara!) and pulled the T key off of my laptop when something got under it. I was thinking, it's just like normal keyboards and it pops right off. I was wrong. As you can tell, it is still functional, but SUPER annoying. Does anyone know how to fix it, or of a place that can for cheap???

That just happened to our laptop. One of the keys just popped off...
We took it to the big box retailers and they were saying, two to three weeks and $250. ACK! We finally went to a mom-and-pop shop and showed them the one key. We were told we were going to need to replace the entire keyboard for around $100 (but they could do it same day). After some talking, we asked if there were any of those plastic springs anywhere and the lady said if she found one, then she could replace the one key for $30 - since we saved the key and all components (although the plastic components were broken). Lucky for us, she did find a replacement "spring" and it's been working fine ever since. The springs are not sold separately, so you usually need to replace the entire keyboard at once.
