Recipe website I love.
So, I've been meaning to use this asparagus I got on sale, and I knew I wanted to make a pasta dish. So, I went to one of my fave websites, allrecipes.com and clicked on ingredients. I typed in pasta, asparagus and butter (I didn't want to use a jarred sauce since all I have is red, and wanted a homemade sauce), and this little diddy came up. Yea, I'm so pumped to make it tonight :)

you can make a really good pesto using asparagus in the place of basil. steam the asparagus, and then blend it up with olive oil, parmesan cheese and pine nuts until it's the right consistency. jonathan makes it all the time - it was always one of artie and allyss' favorite dishes :)
